Absolutely. One reason for chemotherapy is the reduction of incurable tumors enough to be to operate it. However, sometimes the patient is an excellent response to chemotherapy than tumors disappear entirely.

My son has several large tumors and had) to accept the abdominal cavity (with a rare sarcoma, which affects mostly men and young adults. There was a significant response to the high-dose chemotherapy and tumor shrunk75% make him a candidate for one of the two operations. He continued with chemotherapy and lost seats in the lungs and cancer of the lymphatic and lympth chest wall.

Thus, it seems that your friend is going well in their response to treatment. I do not know whether he is able to completely avoid surgery. . but I feel that you have a high turnout.

The goal of chemotherapy is to cancer cells, which can reduce the size of tumors to be fatal, the radiation is typically used to shrink the tumor or the surgery is done to remove the cancer. I wish you the best friend ..........
